This site is to manage the process for hiring and terminating student employees.

This site attempts to mimic the employment functions formerly housed in the DOCK.

Staff can submit requests to hire and terminate using the appropriate forms. The process will generate the Employment Requisition Form and will generate the employment ticket in TDX.

To use the functions here please note the following:

  1. Make sure to log in.
  2. You need to be a test user to get to the functions on this site.
  3. Once you log in, you are in essence submitting employment forms on the student's behalf (Since there isn't a function in StarRez to submit administrative forms and have it be connected to the student account).
  4. This means that to submit hiring or termination form you need to impersonate the student and then submit the form as if you were the student.
  5. The system will automatically check for a "No Hire Comment" as well as an Incident Hold and will tell you if the student is ineligible based on the presence of either.
  6. If on campus residency is required, the system will also check if they are "In Room" and if not will let you know that the student is ineligle. If you need to bypass this requirement for whatever reason pick that residency is not required.
